1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

For rooftop installations, before you commence work,
build fall prevention or safety devices in compliance
with the local legislation on the subject of construc-
tion safety. You must comply with the specific regu-
lations in your country!
Should there fail to be any fall prevention and general
safety devices for technical operation reasons, then
safety harnesses must be worn!
Use only controlled safety harnesses marked by offi-
cial control authorities (support safety belts, safety
ropes/straps, fall-arrest belts, rope shorteners).
Should there fail to be any fall prevention and safety
devices, failure to use safety harnesses could lead to
falls from a great height, with ensuing serious injury
or even death!
If ladders are used, this could lead to dangerous falls
if the ladder gives way, slips or falls.
Working in the vicinity of live bare electrical cables - which can
even be touched - is only permitted if:
- the electricity supply is shut off and this status is guaranteed
for the duration of all work.
- the voltage conduction parts are protected by a covering
or railing.
- the following safety distances are observed.
1 m........................with a voltage of 1000 Volts
3 m...........with a voltage of between 1000 and 11000 Volts
4 m.........with a voltage of between 11000 and 22000 Volts
5 m.........with a voltage of between 22000 and 38000 Volt
> 5 m when the voltage is unknown
The manufacturer hereby undertakes to collect pro-
ducts marked with the ecological marking and the
materials contained and to see to their
recycling.
Only use the recommended heat carrier fluid!

Hook the safety harness above the user where possi-
ble. Secure the safety harness only to solid items or
fastening points!
Do not use damaged ladders, such as wooden ladders
with broken handrails and rungs, or bent and warped
metal ladders. Do not mend handrails, screed and
broken rungs on wooden ladders!
Position leaning ladders safely.
Observe the correct leaning angle (68 ° - 75 °).
Protect leaning ladders against any risk of slipping,
falling or giving way, by opening out their feet, or
using feet suitable for the supporting surface or
fastening hooks even.
Lean ladders only against secure supports.
In heavy traffic areas, provide railings around lad-
ders.
Contact with live bare electrical cables
could be fatal.
During drilling operation wear protection glasses
(danger of implosion)
Wear safety shoes during assembly!
Wear protective safety gloves during assembly
Wear a hard hat during assembly!
