Installing the Print Cartridges

If you are installing a new cartridge or
cartridges, remove only the sticker
and the transparent tape from the
bottom of the new cartridge.
• Important: Make sure you remove
all of the tape.
• WARNING!
DO NOT touch the gold contact
area of the cartridge.
Do not touch the contact area of the
print carriage carrier.

Insert the color and black print
cartridges into the print cartridge
carrier as shown.

Push back firmly on the cartridges
until they snap securely into place.
