REPLACEMENT PARTS

Using incorrect or faulty replacement parts may result
in hazards,
including damage, malfunctions, or total failure.
Only use original replacement parts or replacement
parts approved by Continental Aftermarket GmbH.

STORAGE

9.1.
BLEEDER DEVICE
The bleeder device must be stored in a clean and dry
environment.
The bleeder device must be stored where it is not
accessible to unauthorised individuals.
9.2.
BRAKE FLUID
WARNING!
Danger for certain groups of people and
children!
Store brake fluid out of the reach of children and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabil-
ities or lacking experience and/or knowledge.
Brake fluid must always be stored in an air-tight con-
tainer and only in original containers.
Observe the instructions on the brake fluid containers.

10. WARRANTY

The statutory warranty regulations apply under EU
Directive
1999/44/EC. In non-EU countries, the minimum war-
ranty claims valid in the specific country apply.

11. DISPOSAL

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Environmental damage caused by the brake
fluid!
If lubricants are released into the environment or not
properly disposed of, this may result in significant envi-
ronmental damage. Collect drained lubricants and dis-
pose of them according to local valid regulations.
11.1. BLEEDER DEVICE
The bleeder device must be returned to your author-
ised dealer or disposed of according to European
Directives 2002/96/EG and 2003/108/EG (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Waste equip-
ment may not
be disposed of in household rubbish bins!
11.2. BRAKE FLUID
Used brake fluid must be collected separately in suita-
ble containers (ATE-220 litre disposal system). Used
brake fluid may not be mixed with other
fluids, since it would otherwise have to be disposed of
as special waste, which is more costly.
Used brake fluid must be delivered to a permitted
waste disposal or waste recycling facility, in accord-
ance with legal and official waste regulations.
11.3. CONTAINER
If no return or disposal agreements have been con-
cluded, brake fluid containers must be completely
emptied and disposed of in accordance with legal and
official waste regulations.

12. CONFORMITY DECLARATION

The device has been tested according to legal criteria
and is CE compliant. The designated product fulfils the
regulations of the following European Directives

93/68/EEC
Change Directive
The conformity of the designated product with key
