PREFACE
Congratulations - You have chosen a modern,
high-quality ATE brake bleeding device from the com-
pany Continental Aftermarket GmbH. The ATE brake
bleeding device stands out thanks to its easy handling.
Each device has been carefully inspected for proper
function and condition before delivery. If you have any
questions regarding the device, please contact your
sales partner.

USE AND STORAGE OF THIS
MANUAL
Before using the FB 5ev bleeding device, please read
this manual carefully. In particular, you should familiar-
ise yourself with the safety information it contains.
Please store the operating manual for later reference
and provide the manual to any future owners of the
device. Work on brake systems may only be carried
out by properly trained mechanics using appropriate
workshop equipment. Always follow the instructions
provided in the vehicle manufacturer's original docu-
ments.

FUNCTION

The bleeding device is exclusively used to exchange

brake fluid in hydraulic brake systems/clutch actuation

in commercial and passenger vehicles.

Brake fluid is removed from the ATE brake fluid con-

tainer using a pump. The brake fluid is pumped into
the brake fluid container with up to 3.0 bar operating
pressure. You can drain the old brake fluid from the
wheel brake cylinders until the new brake fluid disap-
pears.
