GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
ELECTRICAL POWER
DANGER!
Mortal danger from electric current!
Touching live parts poses a direct mortal danger from
electric shock.
Damage to insulation or individual components may be
life-threatening.
Never operate the bleeder device if it is defective or
has visible damage.
The device may only be connected to a power grid
with a voltage, current type, and frequency matching
the information on the type plate or technical data! –
If insulation is damaged, immediately unplug the
bleeder device from the power supply.
Never unplug the bleeder device by pulling on the
power cable or transport it by the power cable.
Do not bend, pinch, or roll over the power cable, or
touch it with heat sources or sharp edges.

Danger of injury
Observe the instructions on the brake fluid containers
and the manufacturer's safety data sheet.

UNPACKING

After unpacking the bleeder device, check it for damag-
es and check to ensure the scope of delivery is correct.
If you find damages on the bleeder device:
Do not operate the bleeder device.
Please contact your authorised dealer promptly.
The overview on page 2 shows the bleeder device in its
proper condition on delivery.
4.1.
HANDLING PACKAGING MATERIALS
Ship the bleeder device in its original packaging materi-
als or equivalent materials.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Environmental hazard due to incorrect dispo-
sal! Incorrectly disposing of packaging materi-
als may create environmental hazards. Dispo-
se of packaging materials that are no longer
needed according to applicable statutory pro-
visions and local regulations.

COMMISSIONING

Do not operate the device if it is damaged.
WARNING!
Danger for certain groups of people!
The bleeder device may only be used by people with-
out experience with and/or knowledge of it if they are
being supervised by specialist technicians or have
been instructed in how to use the device safely and
understand resulting hazards.
Work on motor vehicles may only be carried
out by trained specialists.
Observe instructions and data provided by
the vehicle manufacturer.
To avoid accidents and injuries, as well as damage to
the vehicle, the specialized tool prescribed by the vehi-
cle manufacturer must be used.
