EXCHANGE POWER CABLE
The bleeder device is delivered with a protective con-
tact power plug. A variety of country-specific power
cables for other nations are offered as an option.

MAINTENANCE, SERVICING

DANGER!
Mortal danger from electric current!
Always unplug the power plug to interrupt the power
supply before completing maintenance or cleaning
work.
PLEASE NOTE!
Property damage due to improper cleaning!
If aggressive or toxic industrial cleaners, solvents, or
pressure washers are used for cleaning, this may dam-
age the bleeder device.
Only use methylated spirits to clean the bleeder
device.

CLEAN FILTER SCREEN
Clean filter screen in suction lance
1. Switch off the bleeder device using the on/off
switch
2. Pull the suction lance out of the brake fluid cont-
ainer
3. Remove locking ring in the suction lance
4. Remove filter screen
5. Clean filter screen in methylated spirits
6. Blow filter screen dry
7. Install filter screen and locking ring

TROUBLESHOOTING
Electrical equipment may experience disruptions that
do not necessarily indicate that the device itself is
defective. Setting the bleeder device incorrectly may
result in undesirable effects.

SERVICING, REPAIR

DANGER!
Mortal danger from electric current!
Always unplug the power plug to interrupt the power
supply before completing servicing or repair work.
DANGER!
Danger of injury!
Servicing and repair work may only be carried out by
trained technicians with the appropriate workshop
equipment!
Improper repair or handling may result in significant
hazards for the user and damage to the bleeder
device.
Servicing and repair work may only be carried out after
the brake fluid has been drained from the bleeder
device.
A function and leak test must be completed after
maintenance, servicing and repairs are completed and
before recommissioning.
Ensure that the bleeder device is only operated with
glycol-based brake fluid.
PLEASE NOTE!
Products containing mineral oil will destroy
the device.
Never open the bleeder device yourself.
Send the bleeder device for repair by your authorised
dealer if
the bleeder device is non-functional after being turned
on, and an inspection shows no obvious defects.
If you cannot repair the malfunctions, send the bleeder
device to your authorised dealer. Send the bleeder
device in sufficient packaging.
ATE will accept no liability for any transport damages.
Shipping costs must be borne by the sender. In war-
ranty cases, repairs must be agreed upon with the
authorised dealer.
