Cleaning the Meter

Follow these instructions to clean or disinfect the meter.
• M ake sure the meter is off
• G ently wipe the meter's surface with a
soft cloth slightly dampened (wring out
any excess) with one of these cleaning
solutions:

• S uper Sani-Cloth
• 7 0 % isopropyl alcohol
• M ild dishwashing liquid mixed with
water
• 1 0 % household bleach solution
(1 part bleach plus 9 parts water)

DO NOT
• G et any moisture in the code
chip and test strip slots
• S pray any cleaning solution
directly onto the meter
• P ut the meter in any type of
liquid
• P our liquid into the meter
