CAUTION
The orthosis is not flame-resistant. The patient should be instructed to keep
the product away from open fires or other heating sources.
Before each use, the orthosis must be checked for functional reliability and
for possible wear or damage. If a hook & loop closure or any other part of
the orthosis show any signs of wear, the orthosis should no longer be used.
The patient should be instructed to see the physician immediately if he/she
notices any exceptional changes (e.g. increasing discomfort).
The product should not come into contact with fatty or acidic agents, oint-
ments and lotions.
Improper changes to the orthosis are not permitted.
10.1 Cleaning
Hand wash the orthosis with neutral soap and lukewarm water. To avoid
causing skin irritations, rinse the orthosis thoroughly so that all soap residue
is removed. Air-dry the orthosis out of direct sunlight and heat sources such
as ovens and radiators.
11 Usage restriction clause
The 28P44 Wrist Positioning Orthosis is designed to be used on one patient
only. The daily duration of use and period of application are dependent on
medical indication. This orthosis is only suitable for contact with healthy skin.
CAUTION
Parts that must be shaped to the physical contours and those parts
which come into direct contact with the skin may cause functional or
hygienic risks for another patient using one and the same orthosis.
