A solid white light indicates that all operations are normal. A
solid red light indicates that immediate attention is required
to clear or fix an error code.
Flow Error
The flow switch is malfunctioning open.
Heater is disabled. The circulation
pump's filter is excessively dirty, or an air
lock has occurred at the circulation
pump intake. Contact your authorized
dealer or service organizations.
Following is a listing of all the possible messages along with
their meanings. Always insist on genuine Jacuzzi replacement
parts.
Note: If you tap the display will change. The error icon
( ) will remain on the screen as a reminder. If the error is not
taken care of or fixed, the error display will reappear in 2
hours.
"OPEN FLOW SWITCH" (Heater is deactivated. The fil-
ter/circulation may also be deactivated.) The flow switch is
malfunctioning open, the circulation pump's filter cartridge is
excessively dirty or an air lock condition has occurred at the
circulation pump intake.
I Contact your authorized dealer or service organization.
"CLOSED FLOW SWITCH" (Heater is deactivated. The fil-
ter/circulation may also be deactivated.) The flow switch is
malfunctioning closed.
I Contact your authorized dealer or service organization.
"SHORTED HI-LIMIT TEMP SENSOR" The hi-limit tempera-
ture sensor is not functional. Heater is disabled.
I This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized serv-
ice organization or service technician.
"OPEN HI-LIMIT TEMP SENSOR" The hi-limit temperature
sensor is not functional. Heater is disabled.
I This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized serv-
ice organization or service technician.
"SHORTED WATER TEMP SENSOR" The temperature sensor
is not functional. Heater is disabled.
I This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized serv-
ice organization or service technician.
"OPEN WATER TEMP SENSOR" The temperature sensor is not
functional. Heater is disabled.
I This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized serv-
ice organization or service technician.
"SHORTED AMBIENT TEMP SENSOR" The temperature sen-
sor is not functional. Heater is disabled.
I This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized serv-
ice organization or service technician.
Monitors the controller temperature.
"OPEN AMBIENT TEMP SENSOR" The temperature sensor is
not functional. Heater is disabled.

"COOL WARNING" Spa water is more than 20°F/-6.67°C
cooler than the temperature set point, the circulation pump
and heater will automatically activate to provide freeze pro-
tection. The spa will stay in this mode until the water tem-
perature reaches 15°F/-9.44°C below the set temperature.
I No corrective action is necessary.
Note: The heater icon (

"FREEZE PROTECTION" A potential freeze condition has
been detected. No action is required. Jets pump(s) operate
until the spa is out of danger. No corrective action is neces-
sary.
I If condition persists, contact your authorized dealer or serv-
ice organization.
"OVERHEAT PROTECTION"
Do not enter the water!
Water temperature is above acceptable limits. Heater is deac-
tivated. Remove spa cover to speed cooling.
