5.6 TROUBLESHOOTING
ANOMALIES
When the main breaker is set to on,
the control panel will not switch on
When the main breaker is set to on,
the control panel switches on and the
temperature measurement is 999
The burner will not switch on or jams
The burner ignites and then jams
within a few seconds
The burner switches on and after a
variable period, it switches off
After installation, the oven does not
reach set point or cannot maintain its
temperature
The LEDs on the control panel start
to flash in alarm: maximum safety
temperature exceeded
Electronic control anomalies

No mains power
Faulty power cord or plug
Electronic board failure
There is no thermocouple signal to
the electronic board
Thermocouple failure
Gas cock shut off
Ignitor inefficient
Phase and neutral wires are inverted
Detector inefficient
The detector is inefficient for the
whole temperature range of the oven
Inefficient earth connection
No gas
Incorrect gas supply pressure
Incorrect gas type adjustment
Maximum safety temperature

REMEDIES
Make sure that there is power to the
socket where the equipment is
plugged in.
Mend the power cord and plug.
Replace the electronic board
Make sure the connection is efficient,
and that the compensated cable is in
full working order and connected to
the thermocouple.
Replace the thermocouple
Open the gas cock and switch on and
off in order to bleed any air from the
pipe
Make sure the ignitor is in one piece
and at the correct distance and that it
is correctly connected
Make sure that the flame plate is
clean and at the correct distance
Invert phase and neutral wires.
Make sure that the detector is at the
correct distance and is not deformed.
Make sure that the detector is
connected correctly
Make sure that the detector position
is not deformed by temperature.
Check the electrical earth connection.
Make sure the earth connection is
efficient.
Make sure there is a continuous
supply of gas
Make sure that the gas and supply
pressures are as set in TAB.1 of the
instruction booklet (for the country of
use).
Make sure that the oven is correctly
set for the gas supply
Solve the anomaly and after cooling,
reset the safety thermostat button
Replace the electronic control
Replace the safety thermostat
Replace the electronic board
