again, the multimeter is in the DC voltage
mode again.
3) Connect the test tips with the measuring
points of the circuit to be tested. The multi-
meter automatically selects the suitable
measuring range. The display (1) shows
the selected measuring range and the
measured value. The measured value is
displayed as a digital number as well as an
analog bargraph.
Note: If the automatic measuring range selec-
tion is switched off (see chapter 5.6 "Manual
setting of a measuring range"), the display
signalizes OL (= overflow) if there are voltage
measurements beyond the manually selected
measuring range. With voltages above 450 V
there is no display of overflow.

5.2 Current measurement

ATTENTION! The max. measured current val-
ue of 300 mA must not be exceeded.
1) For current measurements up to 3000 µA
set the rotary switch (5) to the position
"µA". With currents up to 300 mA set the
rotary switch to the position "mA". The
multimeter is in the DC current mode. The
symbol
is displayed.

2) For AC current measurements press the
selector button (3). The multimeter is in the
AC current mode now. The symbol
displayed. If the selector button is pressed
again, the multimeter is in the DC current
mode again.
