tally sound way.

When che cking the oil le vel, the en gi ne must be ho -
ri zon tal and have been swit ched off for a few mi nu -
tes.
Stand the ma chi ne ho ri zon tal ly.
Stop the en gi ne.
Re mo ve the oil fil ler cap/dip stick (1) and wipe it cle an.
In sert the oil filler cap/dip stick into the oil filler neck as shown,
but do not screw it in, then re move it to check the oil level.
If the oil le vel is near or be low the lo wer li mit mark on the dip -
stick, fill with the re com men ded oil to the up per li mit mark (bot -
tom edge of the oil fill hole). Do not over fill.
Reins tall the oil fil ler cap/dip stick.
