4.5 STOPPING THE TRACTOR

a) Set the accelerator to minimum (release pedal 6, Fig. 1 or move throttle lever
8, Fig. 1 all the way forward).
b) Depress the main brake gently.
c) Depress the clutch before the tractor comes to a complete halt.
d) Put the gear in neutral (levers 5 Fig.1) and pull up the parking brake (lever 4
Fig.1).

4.6 DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

The tractor is equipped with an electrohydraulic diff lock that acts on both axles.
The diff lock must only be used when needed, i.e. when one of the wheels slips
through poor grip.
The diff lock is operated by pressing button N° 6 fig.3. The diff lock disengages
automatically when the button is released.
Warning: when engaged, the diff lock prevents the tractor from turning
(decal fig.5).
Decal fig.9:
Only use the diff lock with low gears and after having geared
down the engine. Do not use the diff lock near bends. If the diff
lock fails to release, gear down the engine, stop the tractor and release the
diff lock by moving the steering wheel.

4.7 PTO

The tractor is equipped with a rear PTO that can operate in two ways:
independent and synchronised. Both can have two speeds: slow and fast.
Splining: ASAE 1 3/8" with 6 splines
Turning direction: clockwise (in synchronised mode, turning direction is
clockwise with forward drive).
WARNING: move lever N° 15 fig.1 to neutral position F fig.16 when
the PTO is not used. This prevents the PTO shaft and the other
rotating components from accidentally turning.
If implements that produce a great deal of inertia (e.g. lawn mowers,
brush-wood choppers, etc.) are connected to the PTO, it is advisable to
use a cardan shaft transmission with "free wheel" device. As it prevents
drive from being transmitted from the implement to the machine, this device
allows these latter to immediately stop as soon as the clutch is depressed.
