4.3 STOPPING THE ENGINE

Move the throttle lever (8 Fig.1) forward to its minimum setting and turn the
ignition switch fig. 7 to Pos. 0.
Put the parking brake on (4 Fig.1).
Do not leave the tractor with the ignition key inserted.
WARNING: The steering action of the power steering system will be
reduced if the engine accidentally stops. Depress the main brake to
allow the machine to come to a full stop.

4.4 DRIVING THE TRACTOR

The tractor has a 32 speed gearbox: 16 forward and 16 reverse.
Lower the parking brake (4 Fig.1), disengage the clutch (pedal 10 Fig.1
depressed).

• 5 = Gear select lever ( 1-2-3-4) (Fig. 8)
• 11 = Speed range select lever: Creep (L), Medium Slow (ML), Medium Fast
(MV),
Use the speed range lever only when the tractor is stopped and with the
clutch pedal depressed.
• 9 = Reverse lever Fig. 11):
AV = Forward;
RM= Reverse
Use the reverse lever only when the tractor is stopped.
Engage the clutch by releasing pedal 10 Fig. 1 slowly and gradually accelerate
the engine (pedal 6 Fig.1).
Do not ride the clutch since this will cause abnormal wear on the thrust
bearing.
