Installation

The BPW underrun guard consists of 3 components (support arms left/right and crossmember with closure cap). The
parallelogram version is supplied without the crossmember.
The fi rst working step is to attach the support arms onto the vehicle frame. Following this, the crossmember must be
welded or bolted onto the support arms.
2.1 Attachment of the lateral support arms
Transfer the connection hole pattern of the holders onto the vehicle frame. Vehicle frame height: min. 230 mm
Warning:
Comply with the vehicle manufacturer's body guidelines!
Attach the support arms to the frame with six M14 hexagon bolts (min. strength class 8.8) and suitable hexagon nuts.
Tightening torque: M 14
Warning:
Fit the hexagon nuts on the inside of the vehicle frame!
Lock the hexagon nuts.
M = 100 Nm
