Warning
Correct mounting of the 6OX Trial

Integrated bottle connection 613
For the assembly of the SQLab 613 R connection you need a 4 mm hex key and a torque
wrench.
Push the flat tip (1.), which can be found at the top center of the connection, into the groove
provided for this purpose on your 613 R (2.). Now screw the two supplied screws (M5 x 25)
into the thread located behind the connection of the rails to the saddle shell (3.). Make
sure not to exceed a tightening torque of 3 Nm. Now mount a bottle cage in the middle,
alternatively you can also mount two bottle cages at the respective mounting points facing
outwards (4.).
The screws for mounting the bottle holder are not included in the scope of delivery!
Warning
Attention: It is essential that the flat fork (1) which can be found at the top
center of the connection is pushed into the groove (2) provided for this fork.
Otherwise the connection will break off!
Note
The attachment can slip out of the guide in the event of strong impacts and continuous
use on cobblestones. Therefore, the choice of lines has a decisive influence on the
durability of the attachment.
Concept of the integrated bottle connection
The SQlab 613 R connection provides a way to mount one or two standard bott-
le cages behind the saddle as is often common in time trial and triathlon use.
The connection is inclined in the direction of travel. Through this alignment of the water
bottle, it can be pulled out of the holder much more ergonomically towards the body. In ad-
dition, the aerodynamic position on the bike does not have to be left to reach for the water
bottle. This allows intuitive handling and thus distracts significantly less from the racing
action. We have deliberately chosen this alignment, although this presented our engineers
with a challenge due to the larger lever, since we always try to work according to the credo
form follows function for this alignment the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages.
When mounting the Tripod seat post it is essential to make
sure that the seat post is firstly inserted and hooked in into the
two grooves on the rear part of the saddle. Only after the rear
part of the seat post has been hooked in correctly the seat post
can be screwed into the thread of the saddle shell.
