TROUBLE
1. Fan will not start.
1. Loose power line connections to the fan,
or loose switch wire connections in the
switch housing assembly.
2. Fan sounds noisy.
1. Blades not attached to fan.
2. Wire connectors inside switch housing
assembly are rattling.
3. Screws holding blade/flange assembly
to motor hub are loose.
3. Fan wobbles
1. Phillips head set screws in motor coupler
excessively.

3. Screws securing fan blades to
motor hub are loose.
4. Hanger bracket and/or ceiling outlet
box is not securely fastened.
INSTRUCTION TO THE USER (if device contains a digital device)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of

PROBABLE CAUSE
WARNING
1. Check line wire connections to fan and switch
wire connections in the switch housing assembly.
WARNING: Make sure main power is turned OFF.

1. Attach blades to fan before operating.
2. Check to make sure wire connectors in switch
housing assembly are not rattling against each other or
against the interior wall of the switch housing assembly.
WARNING: Make sure main power is turned OFF.
!
3. Tighten screws securely.
1. Tighten both Phillips head set screws securely in the
motor coupler.
2. Tighten the Phillips head set screw in the
hanger ball/downrod assembly.
3. Check to be sure screws which attach the fan blades
to the motor hub are tight.
4. Tighten the hanger bracket screws to the outlet box,
and/or secure outlet box.
