● Insert retaining pin (2) into the bore of
the ball head in the direction opposite to
the arrow in the illustration.
● Fold up retaining pin (2) and allow it to
engage on ball head (3, 4).
14. Assembly and
disassembly of the coupling

maintenance and repair work.

instruction manual of the ride-on
mower.
Remove the ignition key and keep
in a safe place before performing
any maintenance, repair or
cleaning operations.
Always allow the engine and
exhaust to cool down before
carrying out assembly and
disassembly of the coupling
triangle.
14.1 Removing the coupling
triangle
The coupling triangle should be
removed for summer operation. This
makes mowing close to fences and
bushes much easier.
1. Remove the coupling triangle:
● Remove the snow plough. (
● Select transport position. (

● Counterhold the screws (1), unscrew
the nuts (2) and remove together with
the washers (3).
Repeat the procedure on all four
screws.
● Set the coupling triangle (4) down on
the ground.
2. Detach the swivel arm:
Note
When removing the swivel arm,
take care not to damage (kink) the

cable.

● Counterhold the screw (5) and unscrew
and the remove nut (6).
● Lift up the swivel arm slightly and hold.
Remove the screw (5), nut (6) and
washer (7).
● Move the swivel arm carefully.
14.2 Storing the coupling triangle
Note
When storing the coupling triangle,
take care not to damage the cable.
● Fasten the detached swivel arm to the
coupling triangle so that it cannot fall
over and injure someone or damage the
coupling triangle (cable) or other
objects.

● Store the coupling triangle safely.
● Store all bolts, washers and nuts
together.

14.3 Attaching the coupling
triangle
Danger of crushing from moving
parts.
When installing, do not lift the
coupling triangle at moving parts.
1. Attach the coupling triangle:
● Raise the coupling triangle (1) until the
four bores are aligned with the bores on
the mounting frame.
● Insert four screws (2) (A/F 17) through
the bores.
● Fit washers (3) and screw on the nuts
(4).
● Ensure central position of the coupling
triangle on the mounting frame and
tighten the nuts (4) to 44 - 48 Nm.
2. Attach the swivel arm:
● Align the bore of the swivel arm (5) with
the bore on the bracket (6).
● Insert the screw (7) from the inside with
washer (8) through the two bores.
Push the washer (8) onto the fitted
screw (7).
● Fit the nut (9) (A/F 17) and tighten to
10 - 15 Nm.
Next, turn the nut (9) a quarter turn anti-
clockwise so that the swivel arm is easy
to operate and is not blocked.
● Lubricate all moving parts with
commercially available lubricating
grease after installing. Lubricate the
swivel arm release cable after each
installation.
