Internal Fuse Replacement
The monitor is protected by three fuses. Two of the fuses are located inside the monitor on the line and
neutral of the AC inlet. These fuses should only be inspected and replaced by qualified personnel with
250V 2A fast-acting fuses. The third fuse is a 5A fast-acting fuse located on the internal battery harness.

Cleaning the Monitor

Unplug the monitor before cleaning it. Clean the exterior with a cloth slightly dampened with a mild soap
and water solution or ammoniated window cleaner. (See acceptable cleaners, below.) Do not apply large
amounts of liquid. Carefully clean the front panel to prevent scratches. Dust particles can be blown off or
brushed off with a soft brush. Remove fingerprints and stains with a liquid lens cleaner and soft cloth.
• Do not immerse the device.
• Do not clean with abrasive cleaning agents, isopropyl alcohol, or other solvents.
Acceptable cleaners include dishwashing detergents, chlorine bleach (5.25% or 3/4 cup per gallon), or
germicidal detergents

Accidental Wetting of the Monitor

If condensation or moisture is present on the monitor, disconnect the monitor from the AC power source
immediately and dry with a soft cloth.
Warning—Moisture on the monitor can lead to shock and mechanical problems.
