Changing Alarm Limits

The VS1 monitor contains several alarm parameters. High and low values can be set for Systolic, Diastolic,
Mean, Pulse Rate, SpO
limit or falls below the low limit settings, the corresponding LED will flash, a message appears in brackets
on the LCD screen, and, if the audible alarm has been set, the alarm will sound.
To access the Alarms screen, press the Alarms soft key from the Line List display. When the Alarms screen
opens it displays current alarm settings

Changing Alarm Limits
When you open the Alarms screen, the Systolic High alarm limit is highlighted by default. To change focus,
press the OK button until the value you want to change is highlighted. To change the value, press the Up or
Down button, and then press the Save → Main soft key.
The following table lists the supported ranges for each alarm

In Adult mode, the VS1 monitor will sound an alarm at a systolic pressure below 70 mmHg (9.3

adjustable for use in the Neonatal mode, where lower limits can be set.
