7 Troubleshooting

If, in spite of the high reliability of this unit, problems should occur, please check the following points before
contacting the responsible customer service representative:
- Is the mains voltage present at the UPS input?
- Is the input fuse defective or have circuit breakers tripped?
If you contact the responsible customer service representative, please have the following information ready:
- Unit information (model, product code/MLBF, serial number as per nameplate)
- An exact description of the problem (what loads are being operated, does the problem occur regularly or
sporadically, etc)
For description of the indicators mentioned below, please see chapter 4.2.

Switch on mains switch
Have mains inspected by qualifi ed electrician

responsible customer service representative

disconnect any short-circuited or non-priority devices

Re-start the UPS
Check that battery connector is properly seated
Replace the battery module
Reset alarm by pressing buttons 5 and 6 for 3
seconds (units with LED indicators)
Reset the alarm by pressing ESC button for 3

Pull out mains plug and plug back in correctly
Contact the responsible customer service

Decrease ambient temperature
