    EN – ENGLISH EN – ENGLISH Indications for Use The MAYFIELD® Adult Radiolucent Horseshoe Headrest is intended to be used to support a patient’s head in both the prone and supine positions during diagnostic examination or surgical procedures where support and stabilization of the head is desired but complete fixation of the head is not required.

Attach the Adult Radiolucent Horseshoe Headrest to the chosen Swivel Adaptor by inserting the torque screw of the Short Swivel Adaptor (Figure 5) or the torque screw of the Radiolucent Tri-Star Swivel Adaptor (Figure 6) into the threaded hole of the Stationary Horseshoe Faceplate such that the starburst teeth of the Swivel Adaptor are facing the large starburst teeth of the Stationary Horseshoe Faceplate.

Turn the Adjustment Knob clockwise until fully tightenend (Figure 10). Bei der Vermutung, dass eine Komponente beschädigt ist oder nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, das Produkt nicht verwenden und das Instrument umgehend zu einer autorisierten Integra- Reparaturzentrale zwecks Evaluierung, Reparatur oder Ersatz senden. Drehen Sie den Einstellknopf im Uhrzeigersinn, bis er fest angezogen ist (Abbildung 10).

Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Kopf des Patienten bei der Justierung der hufeisenförmigen Stützplatten bzw. der Entriegelung eines Verbindungsteils dieser Vorrichtung immer gestützt ist. Die Nichtbefolgung kann schwere Verletzungen des Patienten zur Folge haben. WARNUNG: Die falsche Positionierung des Patienten bzw.

Bei Nichtbefolgung können die Zähne beschädigt und die Stabilität beeinträchtigt werden, was zu schweren Verletzungen des Patienten führen kann.
