1.0 INTRODUCTION

Application organ:
Respiratory airways (oral cavity, nasopharyngeal space and
bronchial system).
Duration of application:
Temporary patient use for the purposes of inhalation.
Application environment:
The application environment includes hospitals, doctors'
practices, nursing facilities and use at home. Where me-
dication is also used, a physician must determine the res-
pective type and dosage. Application must only be carried
out by medically trained and briefed persons. Children and
patients who require special assistance should only carry
out inhalation under professional guidance.
Contraindication:
The NEBUSTEAM
• if it is damaged,
• by unsupervised children,
• in damp rooms or in the shower/bath.
• Allergies/incompatibilities to the following materi-
als used.

Reprocessing:
The product is intended for repeated use. The accesso-
ries are partly reusable. For information on reprocessing,
cleaning and disinfection, refer to instructions for use (see
Section 5.0).

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

• This device was subjected to a thorough function check
and was carefully packaged before being shipped.
Please, nevertheless check the content of the packa-
ging for completeness by comparing it with the scope
of delivery immediately upon receipt. Besides the basic
unit, the scope of delivery comprises the following:

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

• The device may only be transported in the enclosed box.
• Please promptly document and report transport
damages.
• Following transport at temperatures below freezing
point, the device must be left to stand at room tempe-
rature for up to six hours before start-up. If the device is
not acclimatised, it must not be operated.
CAUTION!
• Do not store the unit in direct sunlight, high temperature
or humidity.
• Keep the unit out of reach of small children.
• Always keep the unit unplugged while not in use.
