WARNING
It is necessary to disengage the power take-off if
the oil temperature exceeds 90°C, so that the ma-
chine turns on, the engine starts even if you are
not sitting on the seat. If the machine switches
off because the temperature is above 90°C, all
the controls possibly operated must be brought to
the rest position and the machine must be star-
ted so that the electric fan starts the cooling cycle
mentioned above and the oil hydraulic turns in the
circuit.
During the cycle in which the fan blows, the opera-
tor must clean the radiator net under the lift cylinder
with his hand and make sure that there are no ob-
structions to the air flow.
In the event of problems with the hydraulic oil he-
ating:
1) Check the integrity of the fuses found before the
relays. Do not change the amperage of the fuses,
as the relays may be damaged.
2) Check that the electrical cables are not damaged
along their entire length.
3) Check if the inverting unit of the solenoid valve
works. Turn the key without starting the engine.
The fan must start very quickly, vacuum for 5
minutes and then go off for another 5 minutes
(approximately) before starting in the opposite
direction.
If these steps are correct, the problem is not due
to the inverter control unit.
4) Check the radiator thermostat by making a bridge
between the 2 terminals of the cables connected
to it.
If the fan runs for more than 2 minutes, the thermo-
stat must be replaced.
If the machine goes into safety stand-by (it turns off
even if cold), instead, the hydraulic tank thermostat
must be replaced (see on the digital display: indica-
tor B page 3 of the manual).
Speed indicator:
If the speed is no longer displayed, look behind the
toothed wheel to check if the bolt head acting as a
ground passing in front of the sensor is still in the
correct position and is not bent, between the bolt
head and the sensor there must be 5 mm . In case
of problems, remove the sprocket and replace a new
bolt.
Digital display:
If it is not displayed, check the fuse and the electrical
connections.
Control lever binding:
In the event of prolonged humidity, the sensors at
the base of the levers (1 Fig. 9) can seize up. In this
case, spray a WD40 type lubricant on these sensors.
Also lubricate the control arms and the lever return
springs (2 Fig. 9) above the pumps well.
Use of the parking brake:
When the brake lever (yellow mushroom near the
roll-bar (24 Fig. 1/B) has been inserted, to disenga-
ge it, pull the lever by moving the machine slightly
forwards or backwards to release the 2 track locking
pins.
You must follow this procedure otherwise you risk:
- Break the brake cable (s) by pulling the lever un-
necessarily while the locking pins have not been
loosened.
- Bend the pins if the machine starts moving before
the pins are completely retracted.
Maintenance of moving parts:
On the machines (Version 1, Version 2, Version 3,
up to serial number 600729), the rollers positioned
between the driving wheel and the free wheel, called
track guide rollers, are mounted on plastic bushes
(2 central cylindrical bushes and 2 flanged bushes
on the outside).
Starting from serial number 600730, 2 flanged bronze
bushings with graphite inserts were mounted for each
track guide roller.
These bushes act as wear interfaces between the track
guide roller and its axis.
It is advisable to regularly monitor the clearance, both
horizontally and vertically, that the track guide rollers
may have with respect to their axes.
To check the play of the track guide rollers, it is ne-
cessary to lift the track from the ground and compress
the tension spring of the track (using the automatic
tensioners), so that the latter does not rest on the
track guide.
To increase the durability of the plastic bushes,
depending on the abrasiveness or soil moisture, it is
advisable to keep the track guide rollers and bushings
well lubricated with WD40.
If there is a gap of more than 5 mm between the
pins and the track guide rollers, remove and replace
the plastic bushings. For horizontal clearance, just
check that the track guide roller does not come into
contact with the frame (about 2 or 3 mm of space
