consequent pollution.
After placing the machine on a leveled surface and
have removed any foreign person present within
range, proceed with the start-up, operating as follows:
- Position yourself sitting in the driver's seat and
engaging the seat belt.
The seat is equipped with an electric sensor that
detects the presence of the driver, if, with the
machine in motion the driver was to drop from the
means, the engine would remain in motion but only
if the feed levers (32 and 33 in Fig. 1/B) have been
brought into position «0»; otherwise the motor
would turn off and the machine would be blocked
in the position in which it is located.
- Check that the lever of the PTO (3 in Fig. 1/A) is not
engaged.
- Insert the key into the ignition switch (16 in Fig. 1/A)
and turn clockwise by one click. This operation will
turn on the insufficient oil pressure warning lights
(19 in Fig. 1/A) and the indicator that indicates that
battery is not charging (21 in Fig. 1/A).
- Turn the key further to the right as long as you do
not start the engine and release it as soon as the
engine starts; it returns alone to the first click.
If the engine does not readily start, repeat the
operation at intervals of about 10 seconds.
In particularly cold weather, it is advisable to «pull
the air», by operating the device (28 in Fig. 1/B) for
a greater enrichment of the air/fuel mixture.
- Release the parking brake (24 in Fig. 1/B) when
engaged and position the accelerator lever (18 in
Fig. 1/A) to about halfway.
- The forward or reverse gear takes place by operat-
ing the two levers (32 and 33 in Fig. 1/B); the speed
with which you move the machine depends, in ad-
dition to the RPM of the engine, also on how the
levers are pushed or pulled; more is their distance
from position "0" and the higher is the speed of the
vehicle.
- For maximum power to the tracks you have to bring
the engine to maximum RPM and move little the
progress levers; the machine will proceed slowly
but with so much drive force.
WARNING
THE MACHINE HAS A SYSTEM DETECTING THE
TEMPERATURE OF THE HYDRAULIC OIL, SWITCH-
ING ON A RED LIGHT AND STOPPING THE ENGINE
WHEN THE TEMPERATURE GETS TO 90°C.
IN THIS CASE, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO PUT INTO
OPERATION AND LET THE ENGINE RUNNING AF-
TER HAVING RELEASED THE PROGRESS LEVERS
AND SWITCHED OFF THE PTO IN CASE IT WAS
ENABLED.
IN THIS WAY, YOU SPEED UP THE DECREASING OF
THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HYDRAULIC BY THE
HEAT EXCHANGER SUPPLIED TO THE MACHINE.
ONLY AFTER THE WARNING LIGHT IS OFF, YOU
CAN PROCEED TO RESUME WORK.
THE DRIVER THAT USES THE TRACTOR FOR THE
FIRST TIME SHOULD FAMILIARIZE WITH THESE
TWO CONTROL LEVERS BEFORE STARTING TO
OPERATE.
- To advance the tractor, you must push forward both
the two levers
To steer left, push the right lever (34 in Fig. 1/B),
leaving on stand-by the left lever and vice versa for
a right turn. The more or less sweet steering angle
is given by the difference of adjustment/position
between the two control levers.
For reversing, instead, pull back on the two levers
and maintain the same position as a function of the
speed and direction you want to give the tractor.
In any case the most suitable speed, depending also
on the surface in which you operate, is the one that
assures a power reserve such as not to overload
the motor.
- Use the throttle lever according to the type of activi-
ties.
It is forbidden to operate on soft ground and on
high slope areas on which the machine could tip
over; if there is a danger, immediately leave the
controls and the machine stops automatically.
In an emergency, you can stop immediately both
the machine and the engine by pushing the red
emergency button (15 in Fig. 1/A) on the dash-
board near the hydraulic controls.
Never station the machine on soft ground, in the
vicinity of embankments, ditches or slopes.
Never leave the machine during the stops. It is
forbidden to leave the machine with the engine
running.
