of the country of use of the machine.
In case you must make use of a lifting means to move
the unpacked machine, use appropriate straps and
hook the machine in the positions shown in Figure 2.
Should it be necessary to transport the machine on
a long journey, this can be loaded on trucks or other
suitable means of transport.
For the loading of the machine onto the means of
transport, it is necessary to create adequate loading
ramps. These loading ramps will have a capacity of
at least 500 kilograms each, should be at least 50 cm
wide, have the raised side edges of at least 5 cm, the
length such as to ensure that the inclination does not
exceed 15°/20° with respect to the horizon wire and
it shall be provided with the hooking system to the
means of transport.
DANGER
The loading can be very dangerous if not carried
out paying the maximum attention.
Before starting then loading, remove the non-
experts; clear and delimit the zone in which the
operation takes place, and check the integrity and
suitability of the means of transport available.
You also must ensure that the area in which you act
is clear, and there is enough «space», that is, a free
and safe area in which to move quickly in the event
that the load falls. Before loading, check that there is
sufficient space inside the body of the transport means
to accommodate the combination of the machines to
be transferred.
DANGER
The area on which you want to load the machine
must be leveled to prevent possible movement of
the load.
- The vehicle must have the engine off and the gear
and the parking brake engaged.
- When loading with ramps, load driving the ma-
chine at reduced speed machine, paying attention
and taking the ramps properly.
Once you have transferred the machine on the
transport means, make sure it stays well blocked
in its position.
Securely fasten the machine to the floor on which
it is resting with taut ropes or chains to avoid any
possible movement.
After transport and before freeing the machine from all
constraints, verify that the status and position cannot
constitute a danger.
Remove then ropes and chains and start unloading
with the same means and modes used for the load.
SECTION 4

4.1 BEFORE USE

Before starting up the machine, the operator must
have read and understood all parts of this manual
(as well as the engine manual) and in particular as
written in «SECTION 2» dedicated to safety.
Before starting further work, check that the machine
is in order and that all parts subject to wear and
tear, are fully efficient.
Before starting the machine, check:
- the engine oil level (see the engine instruction
manual, supplied separately);
- the fuel level in the tank (see the filling cap placed
on the engine 31 in Fig. 1/B).
- the hydraulic oil level through the malfunction
indicator (27 in Fig. 1/B).
THE MACHINE IS DELIVERED WITH FUEL IN TANK
IN A WAY THAT IT MAY OPERATE, AND WITH HY-
DRAULIC OIL AND ACID BATTERY AT THE RIGHT
LEVEL.

4.2 START-UP

Do not refuel the machine in the presence of
sparks, lit cigarettes and fires. Always stop the
engine before removing the fuel cap and wait for
it is sufficiently cold. Before starting the engine,
check that there are no oil or gasoline leaks; in
said case thoroughly clean and dry. If it has spilled
fuel on the machine parts, then dry. The fuel tank
and the hydraulic oil one should never be filled to
the maximum level to avoid unnecessary leaks and
