sharp tools in its pockets.
- During maintenance and repair operations, it is
mandatory to wear protective clothing, cut resistant
gloves, slip resistant and anti-crushing shoes.
- Comply with the laws of the country where the machine
is used, regarding the use and disposal of products
used for cleaning and maintenance. Always dispose
of hazardous waste through the special companies
authorized for the purpose with the release of a receipt
that the waste was disposed of.
- It is absolutely forbidden to operate the machine
by those who have not read and understood the
instructions in this manual, and by unskilled people,
not in good mental and physical health conditions
and in any case less than 18 years.
- Before starting the machine, check the integrity of
all safety devices.
- Before starting work for the first time, familiarize
yourself with the control devices and their functions.
- The area in which the machine is used must be
considered "dangerous", especially for people not
trained in its use. Before starting the machine, check
that all around the work area there are no people or
animals or obstacles of any kind.
- The operator must immediately release the levers
that operate the machine in the event that a person
or an animal enter into the dangerous area of the
machine and wait, before returning to work, that
the area is completely free.
- When a person is exposed, that is in "a dangerous
area", the operator must immediately intervene
by stopping the machine to dismiss the person in
question.
- Never leave the machine with the engine running.
- Periodically check the integrity of the machine as
a whole and the protection devices.
- Before carrying out any repair or maintenance on
the machine, stop the machine and turn off the
engine.
- If you remove the guards, make sure they cab be
correctly restored before using the machine.
- Observe the compliance of the recommended oils.
Keep lubricants out of the reach of children. Carefully
read the instructions and precautions stated on the
lubricant containers. After use, wash it thoroughly.
Treat the lubricants used in accordance with the
anti-pollution laws.
- After the maintenance and repair operations, before
restarting the machine, make sure that the works
are concluded, the security device are reactivated
and the guards are replaced.
- The spare parts must correspond to the require-
ments defined by the manufacturer. Use only original
spare parts.
- When working on soft ground, near drop-offs,
ditches or steep slopes, operate with maximum
attention to avoid any tipping of the machine.
- If the machine is intended to operate in close proxim-
ity to danegrous precipices, it is absolutely manda-
tory before beginning work, to limit adequately all
the traits that can lead to falls from height of the
medium due to a possible wrong maneuver by the
operator.
- Never touch the moving parts or interpose between
them by keeping a safe distance.
- Avoid staying the machine on slopes. In case of
necessity, ensure the locking of the machine using
the appropriate strains or stones to be interposed
between the ground and the tracks.
- During maintenance operations, do not operate the
machine in poorly ventilated rooms: the exhaust
fumes are harmful to health.
- Periodically check the tightness of the screws, nuts
and any fittings.
- It is absolutely forbidden to remove or tamper with
the safety devices.
- Maintenance of the machine must be carried out by
qualified personnel only when the engine is switched
off, following the instructions given in this manual
and in the engine manual.
- The supplies of fuel and oil shall be only with the
engine off, and not too hot. While refueling, do
not smoke and do not get close to an open flame.
Immediately wipe up the spilled fuel before starting
the engine.
SECTION 3

3.1 TRANSPORT

The machine is usually provided on a special palletized
wooden/paperboard packaging that can be handled
with a forklift. In case of storage, do not stack more
than 2 packages of the same type (1+1).
Avoid placing a load greater than 400 kg (with base
equal to the packaging itself) over the individual
packaging.
Please note that the packaging materials are recyclable
and, therefore, after use, they must be delivered to
special collection centers in accordance with the laws
