7.1 Safety measures

Important!
The operator must provide any protective
clothing that may be required.
Who can carry out maintenance
and inspection work?
Normal maintenance work may be
carried out by operational personnel.

Important!
Inspections of the filling stations with
ADR approval may only be performed
by specially trained personnel.

1. Unscrew the lid from
the filling opening
2. Reach into the
opening and pull out
the suction hose
3. Clean the filter
4. Perform steps 1-3
in the reverse
sequence.

Clean off any stuck-on
dirt or diesel
Visual check for damage
Check hoses for cracks
and porosity,
check fittings for leaks
(replace defective parts)
Clean (see picture) with
a low level of diesel fuel
in the tank
Inspection by
experts with:
- Documentation in the
test protocol (see 10)
- Entry on type plate
with waterproof marker
