A faulty door system or incorrectly aligned doors can lead to serious injuries
and damage. Corrosion, rust and cracks reduce the safety of door systems and
can lead to a loss of stability of the drive and the entire system.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION FOR HAZARD AVOIDANCE
x Do not use the door system if it needs to be repaired or reset.
x Check the entire door system for possible damage and wear before in-
stallation!
x Check for corrosion, rust or cracks.
The drive is not designed for the operation of heavy gates. Sluggish doors are
those that cannot be opened and closed manually or can only be closed with
difficulty. The door run must not have any incline or decline.
The operator is designed for smooth-running gates that are in a mechanically
faultless condition and easy to operate by hand (EN 12604). The operator is sui-
table for both floor-guided and cantilevered sliding gates.
x Check whether the door can be opened and closed completely, correctly
and smoothly.
x Mechanically secure the door against running out of its guides.
x Make sure that mechanical interlocks of the door, which are not relevant
for the operation with the drive, are out of operation.
x When using door fillings, the regional wind loads must be taken into ac-
count (EN 13241-1).
x
The self-locking motor prevents the door from opening by itself. As pro-
tection against greater loads, such as e.g. forced opening, an electric lock
(magnetic center lock) or similar must be installed additionally.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to faults in the door system!
