lation.
INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES!
The safe and foreseeable operation of the door system can only be ensured by
correct installation by a competent person in accordance with the instructions
provided with the product.
According to EN 12635 a skilled / competent person is a person who has ap-
propriate training, qualified knowledge and practical experience to install,
check, maintain and repair a door system correctly and safely.
These installation and operating instructions must be read, understood and ob-
served by the person who installs, operates or maintains the drive.
When carrying out the installation work, the competent person must comply
with all relevant and applicable occupational safety regulations and the regula-
tions for the operation of electrical equipment. National occupational safety
regulations, accident prevention regulations and valid standards of the respec-
tive country must be observed and complied with! When installing the drive,
possible hazards as defined by EN 13241-1 and EN 12453 must be observed.
The guideline "Technical rules for workplaces ASR A1.7" of the committee for
workplaces (ASTA) is valid in Germany for the operator and must be observed
and complied with.
