5 Diagnosis
5.1 Display of the Mod/Net LED
LED Operating status
lights up Normal; the SPC200 is
green online and is connected to a
communication partner.
is off The bus interface of the
SPC200 is not supplied
with current.
The SPC200 does not
recognize any communi
cation on the bus.
flashes The SPC200 is ready for
green data exchange and is online
on the bus. However, there
is no communication
connection to a master. It is
possible that the SPC200 is
not yet assigned to a
master.
flashes Fault can be rectified
red The SPC200 has recog
nized Communication−
Time−Out.
The SPC200 has not been
addressed for a long time
(Time−Out time).

Fault treatment
None
S Check the power supply
to the bus interface/
internal logic.
S Check the physical con
nection to the bus and
the terminating resistor.
S Complete the configura
tion. Check/correct the
Scan List of the relevant
master.
S Physical bus connection
interrupted.
Check master for ability
to communicate.
S Reset the Time−Out
status of the SPC200 by
new allocation. Connect
the SPC200 to the bus
again.
