Fitting and removing modules
Warning
Modules may be damaged if they are not handled
correctly.
S Do not therefore touch the contacts of the modules.
S Observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
S Discharge yourself electrostatically before fitting or
removing components in order to protect the compo
nents against discharges of static electricity.
The field bus module can be fitted as desired into slots 3
to 6. If the field bus module is fitted next to the diagnostic
module, it will not be possible to connect a control panel
whilst the field bus cable is plugged in. Only one field bus
module may be fitted. All the I/Os of the additionally fitted
I/O modules fitted are freely programmable.
Removing modules
1. Switch off first the compressed air, then the voltage!
2. Disconnect and remove the connecting cable from the
front of the module.
3. Unlock both locking levers by pushing them back
(see following diagram).
