How to operate your RECARO seat
12 Adjusting the Airmatic lumbar
vertebrae support (lordosis)

The region of the lumbar vertebral column
is placed under considerable strain when
sitting. Suitable support can prevent pain
and injury from arising. The RECARO seat
takes particular account of this with its
basin design and ergonomic upholstery.
Two inflatable air cushions are located
under the backrest cushion. You pump up
or empty the air cushions using the switch
on the cover.
Press the front of the switch to pump up
both air cushions. Press the rear of the
switch to empty both air cushions. To shift
the point of pressure of the lumbar support
upward, press the top of the switch. To shift
the point of pressure downward, press the
bottom of the switch.
Note
Owing to the
specification of the backrest, very little
pumping is required.
13 Adjusting the sitting area length

The front part of your RECARO seat is
equipped with a pull-out cushion section.
Sit on the seat in order to adjust the seat
cushion length. Lift your thighs slightly.
Press the handle in the centre under the
cushion section upward and slide the
cushion section forward to the desired
position. If you wish to shorten the sitting
area, press the handle upward and pull the
cushion section towards you.

14 Armrest

The angle of the armrest can be adjusted
and can be folded up if necessary.
Risk of accidents when
operating elements are impeded
Set the armrest in such a way that it in
no way impedes your ability to operate
the gearshift or handbrake.
Keep the release button pressed if you
would like to fold down the armrest or angle
it further downward.
To fold up the armrest or adjust its angle
upward, simply pull the armrest up. It
engages audibly in several steps here.
