3 .4 Emptying the CD receptacle

The motor switches off if the CD receptacle is full. The
control display (fig. 3/4) comes on. Empty the recep-
tacle CD as follows:
1 . Open the door (fig. 4/1).
¾ The control display
¾ The LED indicator
(fig. 3/2) flashes.
¾ If there is still material in the feed slot, the con-
trol display (fig. 3/9) also comes on.
2 . Remove the bag (fig. 4/2) and dispose of the con-
tents.
3 . Place empty sack into receptacle.
4 . Press the forward button (fig. 3/2).
¾ The LED indicator for the forward button goes
out.
¾ The control display
5 . Close the door.
¾ The control display
¾ The CD shredder function is ready for use.
NOTE!
The machine will only run if the door is closed!

3 .5 Emptying the paper receptacle

The motor switches off if the paper receptacle is full.
The control display (fig. 3/5) comes on.
NOTE!
To complete the shredding process when the
motor is switched off, press and hold the for-
ward button (fig. 3/2).
¾ The cutting mechanism continues to
run forward for approx. four seconds.
This process can only be activated once.
Empty the paper receptacle as follows:
1 . Open the door (fig. 4/1).
¾ The control display
¾ If there is still material in the feed slot, the con-
trol display (fig. 3/9) also comes on.
2 . Remove the bag (fig. 4/3) and dispose of the con-
tents.
¾ The control display
3 . Place empty sack into receptacle.
4 . Close the door.
¾ The control display
¾ The machine is ready for use.
NOTE!
The machine will only run if the door is closed!

3 .6 Dynamic load display

During the shredding process, an LED control indicator
(fig. 3/10) displays the extent of the load on the motor:
• Green light:
• Red light:
The control display should remain on green to avoid a
material jam!
NOTE!
The load display system calibrates automati-
cally! By that the load display can differ (e.g.
at idle speed the control display comes on in
red). That is no quality deficit. After several
shredding processes the load display norma-
lizes.
