15- Run the engine only in well ventilated places. Exhaust
gasses are poisonous.
16- Transport the machine with the engine off, and make
sure it is balanced. Do not touch hot components, especially
the silencer surface (burn hazard).
During transport on vehicles: secure the machine to prevent
roll-over, damage and fuel spillage.
17- Make sure the reduction gear mechanism does not work
when the motor is running at minimum speed. Otherwise,
adjust the minimum speed screw.
18- Stop the engine before maintenance.
19- Shut the engine off before refuelling. Fill the tank far from
sources of heat and do not smoke when refuelling or mixing
fuel. Replace fuel plug carefully after refuelling, to prevent it

20- Never remove the fuel tank plug when the engine is running.
21- Clean off any spilled fuel.
Move the machine away from the refuelling point (at least 3
m) before starting the engine.
22- Never use fuel to clean the machine.
23- Do not check for spark close to the spark plug hole.
24- Allow the engine to cool and drain the machine of fuel
before storage.
25- Store the machine away from heat sources, raised from
the floor.
26- Make sure that the transmission shaft has been installed
and tightened properly.
