The steam wand can be used for automatically froth-
ing milk at the programmed temperature.
It can be controlled using the keypad (15) located on
the base of the machine.

7.9.1 Using the steam wand

Immerse the steam wand nozzle
tips into the milk;

To stop dispensing ahead of

extend the steam dispensing
time in addition to the set tem-
perature.
Avoid contact with the steam nozzles, do not place your hands or
other body parts near the steam nozzle tips.
Keep the tips clean at all times using a cloth dampened in
lukewarm water. The milk can be kept in the fridge for a maximum
of 3-4 days.
The system includes a 4 minutes maximum timeout for when the
steam wand is being used.

7.9.2 Adjusting the froth
To increase or decrease the froth consistency, turn
the specific regulator (10). Turning it clockwise will de-
crease the consistency, whilst turning it anti-clockwise
will increase the amount of froth.
The froth produced by the steam wand froth is adjusted by
the factory, whilst the machine is being tested. Therefore, we
recommend that you only adjustment this if it is strictly necessary.
7.9.3 Continuous frothing function
Immerse the steam wand noz-
zle tips into the milk;
Press the button;
To stop dispensing, press the
button again.
7.9.4 Automatic clean
When the machine has been idle for 120 minutes,
a 15-second automatic nozzle cleaning cycle will be
carried out.
The following message will appear on the display:
"STEAM CLEANING CYCLE". A minimum amount of steam
will come out of the nozzle.
Only leave the steam wand immersed in the milk for the time
needed to heat it.
Do not open the steam valve with the steam wand immersed in
milk while the machine is switched off.
