4. Press REHEAT/CANCEL to disable the REHEAT function. The button
indicator goes off, the device enters standby.
Standard Operating Procedure
1. Measure ingredients according to the recipe and place them inside
the bowl. Do not fill the cooker with food and liquid above the
maximum fill mark on the inside of the bowl.
2. Position the bowl inside the appliance. It must make full contact with
the heating element.
3. Close the lid tightly and set the steam valve to the OPEN or CLOSE
position depending on the program required (the SAUTE program
operates with the lid of the device open).
4. Plug in the appliance.
5. Press the corresponding button to select a program. The button
indicator lights up.
6. Use "+" and "—" to adjust the cook time. Press and hold the corresponding
button down to scroll through the digits.
7. Delay the program if required.
8. A few seconds after the settings are entered, the device automatically
begins the cycle. Count down starts only after the appliance reaches
the temperature and pressure required. If you forgot to adjust the cook
time or the time of delay, press the REHEAT/CANCEL button and adjust.
9. The device produces an audible signal to indicate the end of the cycle
and enters KEEP WARM. KEEP WARM starts progressing. Press REHEAT/
CANCEL to disable the function.
10. Unplug the appliance and let it sit for 5 minutes allowing the pressure
inside the chamber to reduce.
11. Carefully open the steam release valve and wait for the hot steam to
escape. Open the lid.
If by the end of the cycle the lid remains locked, ensure that the steam release
valve is open. Let the device cool down and try opening it once again.
SAUTE Program
The SAUTE program is recommended for sauteing meat, fish, vegetables,
poultry, and seafood. The program cannot be delayed or adjusted (default
time is 20 minutes). Cook food under normal pressure. Saute with the lid
open unless otherwise stated in the recipe.
If you have accidentally closed and locked the lid, causing the activation
of the lid locking mechanism, interrupt cooking by pushing the
REHEAT/CANCEL button. Ensure that the steam release valve is open,
wait for the device to cool down, open the lid, and resume cooking.
CAUTION! The SAUTE program temperature of is extremely high. Let the
device cool down for 15 minutes before reactivating the program.
STEAM Program
The STEAM program is recommended for steaming meat, fish, vegetables,
seafood, and for making different desserts. The time can be adjusted from
5 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes in 1 minute intervals. Cook food under
high pressure (steam release valve closed).
Use the steam tray provided to steam foods:
1. Fill the bowl with 1 ¼ – 1 ½ cups (300–350 ml) of water.
2. Measure ingredients according to the recipe and evenly distribute
them inside the steam tray. Put the trivet and steam tray inside inside
the removal bowl.
3. Properly position the bowl inside the device, ensuring that it makes
full contact with the heating element.
4. Follow steps given in "Standard Operating Procedure".
BOIL/SOUP Program
The BOIL/SOUP program is recommended for cooking soup, broth, meat,
fish, vegetables, and for boiling eggs, sausages, etc. The time can be ad-
justed from 5 minutes to 4 hours in 5 minute intervals. Cook food under
high pressure (steam release valve closed).
SLOW COOK Program
The SLOW COOK program is recommended for slow cooking meat, fish,
vegetables, poultry and seafood. The time can be adjusted from 10 min-
utes to 12 hours in 5 minute intervals. Cook food under high pressure
(steam release valve closed).
