Introduction

XS Instruments, globally recognized as a leading brand in the field of electrochemical measurements, has
developed this new line of bench instruments completely produced in Italy, finding the perfect balance
between performance, attractive design and ease of use. The large, simple and intuitive color display
shows all the necessary information such as the measurement, the temperature, the buffers used for the
last calibration (also custom), the electrode conditions, GLP information and stored data.
Everyone can use these tools thanks to the instructions that appear directly on the display. The interface
is multilingual (8 different languages available) and the English operation guide for Series 80+ is available
at the push of a button.
Up to 5 pH calibration points (3 for Series 8+) can be performed using the USA NIST and DIN families with
automatic recognition and 4 points for conductivity; also buffers chosen by the operator can be used.
A calibration can be saved for the conductivity measurement for each cell constant used; the
compensation coefficient for ultra pure water is also available in the 80+ series.
A detailed calibration report with innovative graphic representation and the representation through the
icons of the buffers used make the calibration process more efficient.
For the 80+ series, the measurement of Selective Ions is available with standards and units of
measurement that can be set by the user. Automatic or manual Data Logger with values that can be stored
in different GLP formats on the internal memory (1000 data), on the PC or printable in paper format.
Password for calibration management, memory emptying and date / time modification. The ideal solution
for an accurate and precise measurement is to use an XS Instruments electrochemical sensor from the XS
Sensor range with an XS Instruments device and perform the calibrations by supplying XS Solution
certified calibration solutions.
