Magnetic stirrer with independent control

All the device of 8+ and 80+ Series can be connected to the appropriate magnetic stirrer independently
controlled; it is included if the instrument is purchased in the STIRRER version or it can be ordered
separately. The magnetic stirrer is equipped with a functional probe holder with 3 compartments to hold
the measurement sensors and a hole for the temperature probe. Use only the original stirrer. Contact your
local distributor for more information.
• Functioning
Connect the device (see "Outputs / Inputs connections) to the socket on the back panel of the stirrer

exclusively through the cable supplied.
Press key to switch on the stirrer, the first green LED lights up.

• To activate the engine press once
speed is adjustable on 15 levels, every 5 steps a green LED light up.
Note: It is possible to fix the stirrer both on the right and on the left side of the instrument by means of
special metal foils on the base of the stirrer (example in the picture below). Unscrew the foils and then screw
them with a hole under the device and the other under the stirrer.
The positioning made in this way eliminates the residual risk of possible slight damages caused by manual
handling of loads or by contact with moving parts.

Compliance with the above, and reading of this manual before each use, eliminates the residual risk of
minor damage from electrocution as far as, they are, however, unlikely.
Software DataLink+
It is possible to connect the Series 8+ and Series 80+ devices to PC and then use DataLink+ software to
perform data download, datalogger directly to PC and Excel and PDF file exports with headers and ID.

• Connect the device USB type B port with the appropriate USB cable supplied (see "Input/Output
connection") to a COM port of PC;
