• Start up

Place the instrument on a flat, stable laboratory bench with adequate front and side accessibility. It is
recommended to place the instrument at a distance of not less than 20 cm from overlying and
surrounding parts.
The positioning carried out in this way eliminates the residual risk of possible minor damages caused
by manual handling of the loads.
Make sure that the instrument and the surrounding space are correctly illuminated
In the STIRRER versions, using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the metal brackets located under the
stirrer and attach them to the device. Then insert the electrode holder arm on the pin. Connect the
instrument ("Stirrer" connector) at the stirrer with the special cable provided.
In the BASIC versions, assemble the holder next to the instrument by assembling the electrode holder
arm into the base pin.
The instrument is not designed to be used in atmospheres where hazardous materials are present.

• Connection of the power supply

Check that the electrical standards of the line on which the instrumentation is to be installed comply
with the voltage and operating frequency of the instrument (technical datasheet).
Use the original power supply only.
Connect the power supply plug to the connector on the rear panel of the instrument indicated with
