The table below shows the structure of the setup menu for the Ion parameter, for each program there are
the options that the user can choose and the default value.

P3.1 Measuring Unit
Access this menu to select the measuring unit for calibrating the instrument and making the sample reading.
mg/L - factory default-
g/L
mol/L
Note: Use the same measuring unit in calibration and measurement.
If you change the unit of measurement, the calibration is automatically cancelled.
P3.2 Select Low Standard
Enter this menu to select the concentration of the first point of the calibration curve (more dilute standard).
Other calibration points will be automatically identified by the software multiplying the concentration by
factor of 10 (example: Low Standard 0.050 mg/L, the other calibration points will be 0.5 / 5 / 50 / 500 mg/L).
The device can accept from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 5 calibration points, when the second
calibration point is terminated, the user can stop the calibration and save the points done up to that moment
by pressing
key.
P3.3 Set Stability Criteria
Enter in this setup menu to set stability criteria to be used in calibration and in measurement mode.
Stability: Equivalent to the "Medium" stability criterion for pH.
Seconds (0...180): Use
is useful for volatile compounds). When using this option on the display, the countdown is activated,
at the end of which the measurement is fixed.
Press
to resume the time.
P3.4 Last Calibration Ion Data
Access this menu to get information about the last calibration performed.
"View" (Factory default), a report is shown on the display with the following information about the
current calibration:
CALIBRATION DATE and HOUR / TEMPERATURE / MEASURING UNIT / ID SENSOR / SLOPE %
"Print": connect the printer to the device through RS232 port (see outputs connections) to print the
calibration report directly on paper format.
P3.5 Due calibration Ion
Enter this menu to set a calibration expiration, this option is essential in GLP protocol.
No calibration expiration is set by default, use
pass between two calibrations and confirm with
Once the calibration has expired, "
continue to make measurements.
