Although the device could accept two other calibration points, we stop and confirm this calibration
(8+ Series will automatically end after three points).

The calibration report and graphic representation are displayed, press

measurement mode. At bottom left the buffers used for the last calibration are displayed, the
value is preceded by the letter "U" indicating that the value was entered manually.
Note: If you are working with manual temperature compensation (MTC), update the value before calibrating
the device.
• Performing pH measurement
Enter in the Setup menu for pH to check the calibration and if necessary, update the reading
•
parameters (see paragraph "pH parameters setup"), press
key to scroll through the different parameter screens until you find MEAS pH (see paragraph
•
Press
"Operation of the device").
The pH measurement can be displayed on three different screens:
• Digital
•
Connect the electrode to the BNC for pH/mV/ORP of device (yellow/blue).
If the user does not use an electrode with incorporated temperature probe or an external NTC 30KΩ
•
probe, it is advisable to manually update the temperature value (MTC).
Remove the electrode from its protection cap, rinse with distilled water and gently dab with absorbent
•
paper.
•
Check the presence and eliminate any air bubbles in the bulb of the membrane by vertically shaking
(as for the clinical thermometer). If it is present, open the side pad.
•
Immerse the electrode in the sample while maintaining slight stirring.
Consider truthful the measurement only when
•
interpretation it is possible to use "HOLD" function (P6.8) which allows to freeze the measurement as
soon as it achieves stability.
After the measurement, wash the electrode with distilled water and
•
store it in the appropriate storage solution. Never store sensors in
distilled water.
•
In the function "Display Complete P6.7", the graphic
representation of the electrode indicates the slope of the
current calibration.
• DHS Electrode
Electrodes equipped with DHS technology can save a
calibration curve inside their memory. The calibrated sensor
is automatically recognized by any DHS instrument and it
acquires the calibration.
•
Connect DHS electrode to the BNC and RCA of device.
