WIESEL SPEEDLine
Disassembly
1.
Measure the distance between the axis of the tension bearing housing and the
aluminium tubular section at both ends and note its value.
2.
Remove the plastic cover from the tension bearing housing. Loosen threaded studs at
both ends of the tension bearing housing and loosen screws as far as possible without
removing them.
3.
Loosen belt retaining angle at both ends of the sliding carriage and move towards the
bearing housing (if necessary, drive out belt retaining angle at the there fore designated
threading located in the centre of the angle with the help of an appropriate screw).
4.
Raise toothed belt and remove it under the sliding carriage together with the belt
retaining sleeve.
5.
Completely pull out the toothed belt from the bearing housing and determine its overall
length.
Replacement of the toothed belt in a WIESEL SPEEDLine
by the manufacturer or NEFF Service.
Assembly
1.
Cut the new toothed belt exactly to the length of the old toothed belt.
2.
Beginning from the sliding carriage, move one end of the toothed belt through the recess
in the tubular section towards one of the bearing housings. Continue to move in the
counter direction from above over the synchronous disc and through the recess in the
tubular section below. If necessary, remove the plastic cover of the bearing housing. On
the second bearing housing, continue to pull the toothed belt above over the
synchronous disc and to the second end of the sliding carriage.
3.
At one end of the toothed belt, shove the belt retaining sleeve over the belt retaining
angle and the toothed belt. Move the toothed belt below the sliding carriage to the stop
and lock into place into the toothing of the belt retainer. Subsequently move the belt
retaining sleeve under the sliding carriage until it surrounds the toothed belt above and
the belt retain below. Finally, move the belt retaining angle towards the sliding carriage
and lock the longer arm between belt retaining sleeve and toothed belt. Screw the belt
retaining sleeve tightly to the recess of the sliding carriage.
4.
Attach the second end of the toothed belt according to description above.
5.
Evenly tighten the two clamping screws on the tension bearing housing until the
previously determined position is reached. The manufacturer will use a specific
frequency meter to check on that. In case such a frequency meter is required, please
contact the Tollo service. Make sure to adjust the same position both ends, in order to
prevent a single-sided movement of the toothed belt (If necessary, manually move the
sliding carriage and then check !). Attach lateral threaded studs.
6.
Slip-on plastic cover on the bearing housing.
