Tipp: Halten Sie die Lok vor einem
Fahrtrichtungswechsel zuerst an.
Auf Dauer ergibt sich ein erhöhter
Verschleiß, wenn Loks aus voller Fahrt
den Befehl zum Fahrtrichtungswechsel
erhalten.
Hinweis: Die Fahrtrichtungsangabe im
Display stimmt nur bei den Märklin-
Fahrzeugen, die auch die Fahrtrich-
tungsinformation auswerten. Frühere
Decodergenerationen konnten dies
noch nicht. Ob ein Modell die Fahrtrich-
tungsinformation auswertet, kann mit
einem einfachen Trick geprüft werden.
Lassen Sie die Lok mit der Mobile Station
fahren. Halten Sie die Lok an und neh-
men Sie das Modell vom Gleis. Betäti-
gen Sie an der Mobile Station den
Fahrtrichtungswechsel. Gleisen Sie die
Lok auf und überprüfen Sie danach, in
welche Richtung die Lok fährt. Sie hat
die Fahrrichtung gewechselt? Dann
handelt es sich um eine Version, die
auch die Fahrtrichtungsinformation
auswertet. Fährt sie weiter in der
anfänglichen Richtung, so ist dies nicht
der Fall. Sollte bei dieser Lok später
einmal Fahrtrichtung und Anzeige nicht
übereinstimmen, so kann durch Entfer-
nen der Lok von der Anlage und an-
schließendem Fahrtrichtungswechsel
für diese Lok auf der Mobile Station
Anzeige und tatsächliche Fahrtrichtung
wieder aufeinander abgestimmt werden.

Tip: Bring the locomotive to a stop

on the display for Märklin models that
process travel direction information.
Earlier generations of decoders were
not able to do this. A simple trick can
be used to determine whether a model
will process travel direction information.
Drive the locomotive using the Mobile
Station. Stop the locomotive and lift it
off of the track. Now press the control
knob on the Mobile Station to change
the direction of travel. Place the loco-
motive back on the track and check in
which direction it moves. If the direction
changed, the locomotive is capable of
processing travel direction information.
If it continues to travel in the original
direction, this is not the case. Should
the direction of travel and the display
not coincide for this locomotive later on,
this can be fixed by lifting the unit off of
the track and changing the direction of
travel on the Mobile Station display.
Conseil: arrêtez d'abord la locomotive
avant d'inverser le sens de marche.
À long terme l'usure est plus importante
si le sens de marche des locomotives
est inversé alors qu'elles roulent à pleine
vitesse.
Remarque: l'affichage du sens de
marche sur l'écran ne concorde qu'avec
les voitures Märklin qui analysent égale-
ment les informations de sens de marche.
Les générations de décodeurs plus
anciennes ne disposaient pas encore
de cette fonction. Il vous est très facile
de savoir si un modèle peut analyser
les informations de sens de marche.
Faites rouler la locomotive rouler avec la
Mobile Station. Arrêtez la locomotive et
enlevez-la de la voie. Inversez le sens de
marche au niveau de la Mobile Station.
Remettez la locomotive en place sur la
voie et observez ensuite dans quelle
direction celle-ci se dirige. A-t-elle
changé de direction? Si oui, il s'agit
d'une version qui est en mesure d'ana-
lyser les informations de sens de marche.
Ce n'est pas le cas si elle continue de
rouler dans la même direction qu'au
départ. Si le sens de marche de cette
locomotive et l'affichage devaient plus
tard ne plus concorder, il est possible
de les refaire coïncider en enlevant la
locomotive de la voie en effectuant en-
suite une inversion du sens de marche
pour cette locomotive au niveau de
Mobile Station.
Tip: Breng de loc voorafgaand aan
een rijrichtingswissel eerst tot stilstand.
Op den duur treedt verhoogde slijtage
op, wanneer locs bij volle snelheid een
commando voor rijrichtingomschakeling
krijgen.
N.B.: De rijrichtingaanduiding in het
display is alleen correct bij Märklin-
voertuigen die ook de rijrichtinginfor-
matie evalueren. Eerdere decodergene-
raties waren hiertoe nog niet in staat.
Of een model de rijrichtinginformatie
evalueert, kan op een eenvoudige
manier worden gecontroleerd. Laat de
loc met de Mobile Station rijden. Stop
de loc en neem deze van de rails.
Activeer op de Mobile Station een
rijrichtingwissel. Plaats de loc terug op
de rails en kijk vervolgens, in welke
richting deze rijdt. Is er van rijrichting
gewisseld? Dan is er sprake van een
loc-versie, die ook de rijrichtinginfor-
matie evalueert. Rijdt de loc verder in
de oorspronkelijke richting, is dat niet
het geval. Mochten bij deze loc rijrichting
en richtingaanduiding ooit eens niet met
elkaar overeenstemmen, kunnen deze
weer op elkaar afgestemd worden,
door de loc van de rails te nemen en
voor deze op de Mobile Station een
rijrichtingwissel uit te voeren.
