1.5 - Alarm disarming under threat (anti-duress)
Via the touch screen keypads: if the alarm system is disarmed by entering
a special "anti-duress" code, the alarm system is disarmed and specific tel-
ephone calls are transmitted automatically as envisaged for the burglar alarm .
1.6 - Panic function
In case of emergency, you can trip all sirens and call the number in the phone
book by pressing the
key on the remote control (if enabled on the control
panel, check with the installer) or by turning on the touch screen while pressing
and then
in the next page for 2 seconds .
1.7 - Residual Credit Check (only for version HSCU2GC and HSCU2GW)
If a prepaid SIM is used, the residual credit can be checked directly from the
touch screen .

A full screen message is displayed with the text of the SMS message received
by the telephone operator being used .
2 - REMOTE USE
The control panel can be called via telephone from the landline by dialling the
relevant number . The HSCU2GC control panel can also be called on the GSM
network by dialling the number of the SIM card used . The HSCU2GW control
panel, though equipped with the GSM module, cannot receive calls on the
GSM network .
Special commands can be sent to the control panel via the telephone line or
GSM network .
Table A lists the commands that can be sent during a telephone call .
Table B lists the commands that can be sent via simple SMS messages . (Avail-
able only with the HSCU2GC) .
2.1 - Operating the control panel over the landline connection
Caution! – To answer incoming calls on the PSTN line, the guide message 7
must be present; without this message, the control panel does not answer the
call (contact your installer for the message configuration) .
To call the control panel, proceed as follows:
01. Dial the control panel telephone number .
02. Shut down the call after the second ring .
03. Call again immediately; the control panel will answer with guide message 7 .

2.2 - Operating the control panel over the GSM line (HSCU2GC only)
The GSM module responds immediately to the incoming calls only if the called
ID is recognised (the telephone must be enabled to send its own ID) .
It is also possible to avoid sending the user code, by enabling direct access for
specific caller numbers .
If the caller phone does not send its own number, or if the number is not ena-
bled for direct access, use the procedure specified previously in "Operating
the control panel over the landline connection" when calling the GSM module .

02. After listening to the message, enter the desired command (see Table A) .
2.3 - Operating the control panel management with an SMS
(HSCU2GC only)
The GSM module recognises commands sent via SMS only if called ID is rec-
ognised . (The telephone must be enabled to send its own ID, and its number
must be enabled in the phone book of the control panel for direct access) .
Write the message - only enter the command text, see table B .
The control panel will answer with a confirmation message .
3 - USER CALLED BY THE Control panel
3.1 - Call in the event of alarm
In the event of an alarm, the control panel makes the envisaged telephone calls .
Those called can interact with the control panel, for example to disarm it by
entry of the command described in Table A .
Those called by the control panel can interrupt the cycle of envisaged calls
(consecutive); to stop the calls, listen to the message and the end confirmation
beep and then press the # on the telephone .
3.2 - Technical SMS reception
Depending on the control panel settings (ask the installer) it is possible to
receive SMS messages with an alarm in progress warning or with the descrip-
tion of the status of the control panel, system arming/disarming, power failure,
no GSM field or with the residual credit if you are using a prepaid SIM card .
