Messages can be up to 24 characters long .
Each SMS reports a given event, programmed at the factory (see table below) .
To modify them, select "Event", select the event in question and
confirm with "OK" (see table 6) .

6.6 - Phone book

This part allows you to memorize the names and phone numbers of person
to whom alarm messages and technical system information will be sent . The
phone book (fig. 42) can hold up to 64 contacts .
Select the position in "Phone book", press "Add" and enter the data of the
contact in question .

DESCRIPTION
NO EVENT: confirming this means that no calls will be made (this can be used to momentarily disarm an alarm) .
ALARM ZONES A-B-C-D-E-F: Covers all indoors and outdoors intrusion detectors .
Example message: "Warning, robbery alarm at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome"; (followed by the ID of the
detector which tripped the alarm) .
TAMPERING ALARM: Any device protected against tampering may trip this alarm .
Example message: "Warning, tampering alarm at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome"; (followed by the ID of the
detector which tripped the alarm) .
PANIC ALARM: alarm armed manually by the user with a remote control or touch screen . Example message:
"Warning, panic situation at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome"; (followed by the ID of the detector which
tripped the alarm) .
ROBBERY (or medical) ALARM: alarm armed manually by the user with a remote control or touch screen .
Example message: "Warning, medical emergency at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome"; (followed by the ID of
the detector which tripped the alarm) .
TECHNICAL ALARM: alarm tripped by the technical sensors (smoke, flooding, etc .) . Example message: "Warn-
ing, flooding reported at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome"; (followed by the ID of the detector which tripped
the alarm) .
LOW BATTERY ALARM: one of the system devices has a low battery charge .
Example message: "Warning, low battery charge at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome"; followed by the ID of
the device whose battery is drained .
POWER FAILURE (HSCU2GC and HSCU2C control panels only): the call is made after a set period of mains
power outage to the control panel .
Example message: "Warning, power failure at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome" .
PERIODIC MESSAGE to indicate that the control panel is alive and well, so to speak: sent every set number of
hours/days . See Settings menu .
TEMPERATURE ALARM: the call is made when the control panel's temperature exceeds 70°C or falls below
5°C .
Example message: "Warning, abnormal temperature at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome" .
SUPERVISION ALARM: The control reports that a device has not been found .
Example message: "Warning, supervision alarm at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome" .
SCANNER ALARM: The control panel reports a persistent radio disturbance in the vicinity .
Example message: "Warning, radio disturbance at Rossi house, via Pascoli 10, Rome" .
FAULT message, indicated with a
failure, low batteries, scanner, supervision, temperature (< -10°C and > 55°C) and any problems with the PSTN
landline .
Armed message, sent whenever the control panel is armed . (Only use with 230V power control panels
HSCU2GC and HSCU2C) .
Disarmed message, sent whenever the control panel is disarmed . (Only use with 230V power control panels
HSCU2GC and HSCU2C) .
NAME
The name of the person or institution with the phone
number in question (max . 13 characters)
NUMBER
Phone number which will be dialled by the PSTN or
GSM dialler (max . 16 digits)
VOICE MSG
Select the events for which the voice message will be
sent
SMS MSG
Select the events for which the SMS will be sent
TECHNICAL SMS Enables the number to receive technical messages
(see table 7)
DIRECT
Enables direct access from
ACCESS
the number . The control panel recognises the incoming
cellphone number and will not ask for the user code
CREDIT
Enables reception of an SMS reporting the available
residual credit
Notes for recording numbers in the phone book:
Dialling tone: the control panel will normally wait for a PSTN dialling tone before
making a call. If the line is disturbed, the control panel may fail to recognise the
tone. If you wish, you can disable this check by entering the symbol Q during
programming, as the first digit of the phone number.
Pause between digits: if a pause is required between any two digits when dial-
ling, enter the symbol "P" where the pause is required.
