This Miele communication module complies with all relevant local
and national safety requirements. Inappropriate use can, however,
lead to personal injury and material damage.
Read the operating instructions carefully before using the Miele
communication module. They contain important information on
safety, installation, use and maintenance. This prevents both per-
sonal injury and damage to the Miele appliance.
In accordance with standard IEC 60335-1, Miele expressly and
strongly advises that you read and follow the instructions in the
chapter on installing the Miele communication module as well as
the safety instructions and warnings.
Miele cannot be held liable for injury or damage caused by non-
compliance with these instructions.
Keep these operating instructions in a safe place and pass them
on to any future owner.

Appropriate use


The Miele communication module is to be used exclusively to es-
tablish a data connection between a communication-enabled Miele
Professional appliance and a data processor in accordance with the
Ethernet or WiFi standard. Any other applications may be dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage resulting from in-
correct or improper use or operation of the machine.

The communication module is intended exclusively for commer-
cial use.
Under no circumstances should it be possible to access the com-
munication module via the Internet or other public or unsecured
networks, either directly or indirectly (e.g. using port forwarding).

Technical safety


Check the communication module for any visible damage before
installation. Do not install or use a damaged communication module.
