Before installing the communication module, make sure that the
connection data on the data plate (voltage and frequency) matches
that of the mains power supply. If in doubt, consult a qualified elec-
trician.

A faulty communication module must not be repaired. A faulty
communication module must only be replaced by an original Miele
spare part.

Make sure that the data cable for the communication module is
assembled and routed correctly.

In the event of a fault, the communication module is only discon-
nected from the mains if:
- the Professional appliance is switched off at the wall socket and
the plug is withdrawn, or
- the mains fuse is disconnected, or
- the on-site screw-in fuse has been completely removed, or
- the residual current device (RCD) has been activated, or
- the communication module is located outside the designated in-
stallation slot.
After disconnection, ensure the mains power cannot be switched
back on by mistake.
Before installing or removing the communication module, discon-
nect the Professional appliance from the mains power supply.
