First of all, check the points listed in the following table. If the fault persists, please call in
an expert.
Remedy
Check primary fuses and connec-
tion to mains.
Check thermostat setting.
Compressor starts automatically
(find cause, limiting values for
usage may be exceeded; call
expert).
Clean condenser. Ensure that
condenser is properly vented.
Check ambient temperature and
internal load.
Call expert, check unit for tightness.
Clean condenser.
Call expert; replace fan.
Check assemblies and air circula-
tion inside switch cabinet. Air intake
and exhaust into/from cooling unit
into switch cabinet must be
unimpeded.
Check thermostat and cable
connections.
Set higher temperature at thermo-
stat.
Close switch cabinet door.
Remedy leakage at switch cabinet.
Clean condensate drainage.
Condensate drainage hose must be
inclined downward without showing
a bend.
Possible cause(s)
No voltage applied to unit.
Unit fails to cool.
Thermostat setting too high.
Motor protection switch of the
compressor or h.p. push button
has responded.
Threshold values for usage
exceeded.
Lack of coolant.
Condenser contaminated.
