Operation
The OPTIMISATION "9" screen appears (Fig. 5-59).

START is signalled on the screen
— Perform the wheel measuring run.
A measuring run is performed.
The OPTIMISATION "10" screen, outside, is displayed
(Fig. 5-60) or the OPTIMISATION "10" screen, inside,
appears (Fig. 5-61).

Optimum condition has been achieved and cannot be
further improved.
— Continue as shown on screen BALANCING (Fig.

Silent wheel running conditions cannot be improved.
— Press ESC or STOP (3,6, Fig. 5-60a) to quit
Optimisation.

However, it is possible to readjust the tyre with rim to
obtain a quite considerable reduction of weights (i.e.
smaller weights) without having an adverse effect on
wheel running conditions.

Splitting faults
At this stage of the program the faults index is available
(Fig. 5-61a).
Two values appear, indicating how the total wheel
unbalance is split as a percentage between the
rim and the tyre;
